Sale every Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm at the South end of the Cat Welfare shelter. We are an indoor heated/cooled building!
Best times to donate:
Saturdays during our sale hours (9:00am-3:00pm) or Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday from 12:00noon to 3:30pm If you need to arrange a donation outside of these times, then please call Alice Lahrmer at 614-882-5561. Donations are to be brought to the purple door or garage door at the South end of the shelter building - oppostie end from the main entrance. We would prefer donations not be made at the shelter entrance or brought inside the shelter lobby or office as our shelter staff is already very busy taking care of our shelter kitties. Please do not leave donations outside our building unattended or after hours in order to prevent damage from weather and theft.
Items we accept include:
We accept clothing (preferably in season), shoes, books, bedding, small appliances, housewares, jewelry, art/picture frames, artwork, decorative items, candles, collectibles, records, videos, CDs & DVDs, and, of course, anything cat related. All donated items should be gently used and free of dirt, stains, tears, and in workable condition.
We will be glad to give you a receipt for tax purposes.
Items we do not accept:
Exercise equipment, computers (including monitors, modems, printers, and scanners), upholstered pieces of furniture, mattresses, tires, hazardous waste materials (like paint, etc.) and anything that is large bulky and or heavy. We make every effort to donate items that we are unable to sell, or cannot use to other charitable organizations including Volunteers of America, Amethyst, and House of Hope. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards (charges must be over $20.00 to use a credit card).
