| ONGOING SHELTER FUND RAISERS..... | ||||
| As a nonprofit organization, Cat Welfare's only source of revenue is from membership donations and fund raising projects. Cat Welfare is a "no frills" organization dedicated to helping cats--no funds are ever diverted from our primary mission. Today, between 150-200 cats are being cared for daily (and in the summer months with all the kittens the number can soar to almost 300) with long-term care being provided for each one until they are adopted. The only time Cat Welfare has to euthanize an animal is when they test positive for feline leukemia or FlV or due to serious illness or injury. Our ongoing fund raisers were created to raise funds for improvements to the building, the purchase of new cages when needed, and to address the growing needs of the shelter. Specific programs are also in place to help support spaying/neutering and to care for the permanent residents of the shelter. We hope that when birthdays, anniversaries, and other special gift occasions occur this year that you'll consider giving a gift that will truly mean so much for so many less fortunate. The cats thank you, as always, for caring about them. | ||||

| OTHER SHELTER FUND RAISERS..... | ||||
| Cat Welfare also has various fund raisers throughout the year to further help our cats. A Spring flower sale, Happy Cats art auction, silent auction, bike raffle, sale of Entertainment books and Carruth garden statues are some of the inventive and fun ways we've raised money for our cats in previous years. To find out if there is a short term fund raiser going on currently, click on the Home button on our index bar for a list of our headline events. | ||||
