Charlie Cha Cha

Hi! My name is Charlie (aka Charlie Cha Cha) and I came to Cat Welfare in February 2007. I wasn’t neutered and boy was I a handful! I thought I was the king. I fought with all the cats and the staff, too. No one could touch me. Everyone said that if I didn’t shape up that they didn’t know what they were going to do with me. I didn’t like the sound of that so I decided to change my attitude. One day a very nice girl came into the shelter to volunteer and started paying attention to me. She continued to come in on a daily basis and I started to soften up to her just a little. One of the staff had been observing my attempts to better my ways and she decided to make me her pet project. Thanks to Kelly and Donna I now love everyone! Sometimes I may revert to my old ways and tease a kitty. However, most of the time, I walk away when one of the others tries to taunt me. If you take the time to talk to me, then I might just put my paw on your chest, jump in your arms, and even give you a hug. It was decided that the shelter should be my home due to some recurring eye problems and because I really do love it here. This is where I grew up after all. Next time you come in to visit be sure to look me up. I promise you won’t be sorry!
